This agreement sets out the terms of the PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Vehicle Membership. By joining the Membership, the customer agrees to these terms.
All vehicles must undergo an inspection by PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair before being accepted onto the Membership.
The inspection is used to identify existing faults, defects and maintenance requirements and to determine whether the vehicle is suitable for Membership.
Any faults or defects identified will be recorded.
If PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair considers repairs reasonably necessary before the vehicle can be accepted, these repairs must be completed before Membership benefits become active.
Pre-membership repairs are not included within the Membership and do not qualify for the 50% Member labour discount.
Repairs may be completed by PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or another suitably qualified repairer. Where repairs are completed elsewhere, reasonable evidence of completion may be requested.
PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair may decline a vehicle where we reasonably consider its condition unsuitable for Membership.
Passing the inspection does not guarantee that the vehicle will not subsequently develop a fault or break down.
Membership costs £24.99 per month.
Membership has a minimum term of 12 months.
One Membership covers one registered vehicle.
Membership benefits only become active once:
The Membership fee of £24.99 is payable monthly.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their payment details remain valid and sufficient funds are available.
If a monthly payment fails or is not received, all Membership benefits may be suspended until the account is brought fully up to date.
This includes breakdown assistance, recovery, discounted labour and other Membership benefits.
Suspension of benefits does not itself cancel the Membership agreement.
Any recovery of unpaid sums will be carried out in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
Members receive up to:
3 breakdown/recovery call-outs per 12-month Membership period
Breakdown assistance and recovery are subject to availability and these terms.
Recovery is included within a 20-mile radius.
Recovery beyond the included distance may be available for an additional charge.
Where reasonably possible, any additional charge will be explained before the recovery takes place.
Unused call-outs have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Once all 3 included call-outs have been used, further assistance may be available at an additional charge.
PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair cannot guarantee a specific attendance time. Response times may depend on traffic, location, workload, weather, staff/vehicle availability and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Membership is intended to cover new and unforeseen breakdowns or faults occurring after Membership begins.
Faults identified during the pre-membership inspection are not covered unless the required repairs have been completed and the vehicle subsequently accepted.
A customer must not knowingly conceal a fault or provide misleading information about the condition of their vehicle.
Membership may be refused or benefits withheld where there is reasonable evidence of fraud or deliberate misrepresentation.
Active Members receive:
50% off PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair's standard labour charge
The discount applies to eligible repair labour carried out by PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair on the registered Membership vehicle.
If the vehicle has advisories before the vehicle is added on the subscription it will not be included in the 50% labour charge.
Parts are NOT included in the discount.
Parts, fluids, consumables, specialist services and third-party costs are charged separately.
The Membership account must be fully up to date when the work is carried out.
The discount cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another customer or vehicle.
The 50% discount does not apply to repairs required to bring a vehicle up to an acceptable standard before Membership begins.
Members become entitled to:
1 free engine oil & oil filter change
This benefit becomes available after the customer has completed 10 consecutive months of paid Membership.
All payments must be fully up to date.
The oil and filter change applies only to the vehicle registered on the Membership.
It cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
The benefit covers a standard engine oil and oil filter change.
Vehicles requiring specialist oils, specialist filters, unusually large quantities of oil or additional components may incur an additional charge.
When you make the first payment we will then arrange an inspection date within 5 working days of payment.
Any additional charge will be discussed with the customer before work is carried out.
The free oil and filter change does not include a full vehicle service or additional repair/maintenance items.
Members can receive:
£20 referral reward
The existing Member becomes eligible for the £20 reward when the person they referred:
The £20 reward can then be paid to the referring Member.
No reward is payable where the qualifying payment is subsequently refunded, reversed, charged back or found to be fraudulent.
Customers cannot refer themselves.
PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair may refuse a referral payment where there is reasonable evidence that the referral scheme is being abused.
Unless specifically stated as a Membership benefit, replacement parts, fluids, consumables and materials are not included within the £24.99 monthly fee.
Any additional repair work and charges will be discussed with the customer before work proceeds where reasonably practicable.
Membership applies to the registered vehicle.
A Member wishing to change their registered vehicle must contact PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
The replacement vehicle must undergo a new pre-membership inspection and be accepted before Membership benefits can be used on that vehicle.
Any required repairs must be completed before the replacement vehicle is accepted.
Membership is intended for genuine private vehicle use and genuine breakdown situations.
PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair may investigate suspected fraudulent or abusive use of the Membership.
Membership benefits may be refused where a claim is fraudulent, deliberately misleading or otherwise excluded under this agreement.
Nothing in this section affects the customer's statutory consumer rights.
PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair will only attempt roadside repairs or recovery where it is reasonably safe and lawful to do so.
Vehicles that are involved in an accident, significantly damaged, stuck off-road, inaccessible or require specialist equipment may require additional recovery arrangements.
Additional charges may apply for specialist or third-party recovery.
Where reasonably possible, these charges will be discussed with the customer beforehand.
The Membership has a 12-month minimum term.
Nothing in this agreement removes any statutory cancellation rights available to consumers under UK law.
Where the Membership is purchased online, over the telephone or away from business premises, statutory cooling-off rights may apply.
Where a customer requests that services begin during an applicable cooling-off period, the legal rules concerning services supplied before cancellation will apply.
After any applicable cooling-off period, the Membership remains subject to the agreed 12-month minimum term except where the customer otherwise has a legal right to cancel or terminate.
The customer will be informed of the arrangements applying at the end of their initial 12-month minimum term.
Any continuation or renewal of Membership will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
PCB Vehicle Maintenance & Repair will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in this agreement excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Nothing in these terms affects the customer's statutory rights.
